Tilarán’s Library

Since there is just so much to see and do in Costa Rica (and getting around or finding an address can be interesting, to say the least) I only got a chance to visit one other library on my list while there 😦

Gobierno Municipalde de Tilarán’s Biblioteca Pública is wheelchair accessible and is conveniently located in the municipal complex next to the bus station.

Unfortunately, my broken Spanish prevented me from learning much, but the librarian did let me know that people can check materials out.

But I forgot to ask if anyone could use the computers for any purpose.

And he did tell me they also have cassettes.

And they even have a bucolic view.

The library in this small community is just steps away from the town square so is easy to access.

Visiting the library made a nice break after driving around Lake Arenal on the way from La Fortuna, especially as we were just about to tackle the infamous road to Monteverde.
